2006 Summer Circuit results

This was our first 3 show circuit & we had so much fun! We entered 30 classes and took home 29 ribbons, 26 of them top 3.

Week 1 Results of the Summer Circuit

Sparky has been hangin' in the pasture since April while Whitney was finishing up a bunch of her barrel racing and play-day series. But true to Sparky form, Whitney got home & we had nice easy rides, just jumping a single 2' vertical on 2 separate days. He went to the show and was true to his name Mr. McCool. He did everything Whitney asked & she rode very well for being out of English shape.

The took 2nd in all 3 Intro Jumper classes & were

SHOW CHAMPIONS

2 jumper ponies wait to go. Paige & "Bust-A-Move" beat us all week, but we love them anyway!

She also decided to ride in the Pony Hunters on Sunday & swept that division as well, taking home the

Pony Hunter SHOW Championship.

I just can't say enough about Sparky. We are truly a lucky lucky family to have him!

Week 2 at the Summer Circuit was hotter & even more fun if that's possible! Sparky was fabulous again & Whitney improved from last week. Naturally, I forgot the camera & I do not have 1 single picture. But, here is what she did

Sparky was great in the hunters again & took 1st Over Fences & 2nd in the Under Saddle, which was enough for the

RESERVE SHOW CHAMPION PONY HUNTER TITLE

But the best part of the day was the Intro Jumpers where Whitney was the ONLY one to go double clean and WON her first Jumper Class!!! A perfect 10th B-day Present!

Week 3

Whitney had another great show over the 3rd week. Sunday was her best day ever taking her first Medal win. There were 22 riders & she was the only pony. Sparky was a little strong, but Whitney kept her cool and had a great round. She did her first work-off ever & took the blue. I cried. (I know, what a dork)

She almost swept the pony hunters again & ended up Show Champion Pony Hunter as well as CIRCUIT CHAMPION PONY HUNTER
