
Jackie Luizzi
Jackie started riding at the age of 9 with her own pony. Took her first riding lesson at the age of 13 and was hooked! At age 15 she trained the AHSA (Now USEF) Horse of the Year by herself. At 17, she was offered the assistant trainer position under Anne Kouri, then moved to the "A" circuit under the guidance of famed rider Rob Gage at the Los Angeles Equestrian Center. She had many successes in the jumper arena competing with the likes of Meredith Michaels, Richard Spooner and McClain Ward. She is married to Ben Benavides, a professional rodeo soundman/announcer, and has a daughter who is a multi champion in the rodeo arena as well as the H/J arena.
Ben Benavides
Ben and Jackie got married in 2007 and have been building their business, ranch and life together since.
Ben has been a rodeo announcer since 1987. He and Jackie have an audio/video production company providing services to PRCA rodeos, CBR, PBR and other sporting events. When not traveling the country, he enjoys helping with the horses and raising registered miniature Pembroke Welsh Corgis. He has two kids; a son, Marshall and a daughter, Marina.
